Youth Network in Bosnia and Herzegovina is an informal group of non-partial organizations, groups and individuals that fulfill the needs of young people in both entities, actively involving them in building democratic values and strengthening of civil society. (Mission of hCa Youth Network in B&H, established on workshop from strategic planning in Kulasi, 11-17 July, 1999.)

    RESEARCH RESULTS AND SURVEY ANALYSIS - SOCIAL RAPPROCHEMENT, EQUAL PARTICIPATION OF MINORITIES IN B&H
 

From December 2009 till the end of January 2010, as a part of the project “Regional youth action against discrimination”, Youth Resource center Tuzla along with youth organization – members of the youth Network B&H has conducted a survey in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In front of you is survey analysis as well as statistics of the survey in 18 B&H cities.
Questionnaires were distributed (Cyrillic and latinic version) and were filled in: Bosanski Petrovac, Jablanica, Konjic, Maglaj, Sarajevo, Tuzla, Zenica, Banja Luka, Bijeljina, Derventa, Doboj, Mrkonjic Grad, Prijedor, Sekovic, Srebrenica, Zvornik and Brcko Distric B&H. 1526 questionnaires have been filled out, 662 in Federation B&H, 764 in Republic of Srpska and 100 in Brcko District B&H. Survey contained 24 questions, several question had descriptive character.

From 1st March 2008 till 1st Aprli 2008, as a part of the project "You(th) can make changes - if you(th) can get a chance" – supported by NED Washington and Canadian embassy Sarajevo, Helsinki Citizens Assembly (hCa) / Youth Resource Center Tuzla (ORC) along with youth organisations - members of the Youth Network B&H conducted a survey on young people from three regions: Podrinje, Northeast Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the distribution have participated partner organizations in this project: Multimedia youth center (MCM) Zvornik, Initiative for development and cooperation in Bosnia and Herzegovina – IRC (Mostar) and KULT B&H (office Gradacac). Beside mentioned regions, questionnaires have been filled out in other B&H cities thanks to youth organizations – members of the youth network B&H.

   
    Logical frame analysis (LFA)
 

LFA is a useful tool in planning and monitoring as well as evaluation of management of the development project. It is not the only tool for planning nor should it be considered as only one, but its usage improves clear and specific thinking about project goals which we should achieve and how to achieve them, and it is emphasizing those aspects crucial to the success of the project (Word 570 kb).     Practical guide: How NGO are functioning
 

Considering that in B&H understanding how civil sector is functioning is still on low levels, purpose of this guide is to point out on significance of NGO in the society development as whole and to their role of fulltime partner to the government and private sector in planning of the development and making decisions concerning development. Beside this, aim of this guide is to point out to problems with which NGOs in their development and to help them to recognize and solve problems in organizational management as well as projects, and fulfilling their role “voice of citizens” through public advocacy and finance problems. Although it has character of practical guidelines, this guide contains and certain theoretical basics, in order to improve understanding: term, development, role and basic elements of the work of NGOs (PDF 1,10 mb).
