"Importance of membership of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Partnership for peace"

Meeting was held in Sarajevo, building of Parliamentary assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hall No. 1 (first floor) at Friday, 19.10.2007 with beginning at 9.30 hrs.

Meeting objective was to create analyse of importance of Bosnia and Herzegovina membership in Partnership for peace, obligations which BiH was fulfil till now and obligations which are not yet fulfilled, as a reasons for their un-fulfilment.

In discussions we did not only point on security, but at same time we point on political, economical and social importance of membership in Partnership for peace, with aim to make citizens of BiH more informed about advantages which are followed by Partnership for peace.

This meeting was a basement for held of Public tribunes all around Bosnia and Herzegovina where wider number of citizens would be informed about this topic, as it's concluded by questionary conducted that citizens of BiH about this issue have no enough information's.

On expert meeting was participate eminent experts: Ministry of defence of BiH, Joint headquarter of OS BiH, representative commissions for defence and security of BiH, Ministry of security, Border police, SIPA, Ministry of civil affairs of BiH, NATO, embassy representatives, OSCE and OHR BiH, NCB Interpol BiH, EUFOR, and non government organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Meeting was a part of project activities "Partnership for peace and BH society" which is in total supported by Government of United States of America, through embassy in Sarajevo.
